1. General
The 2007 Inter Service Regional Gliding Championships (ISRGC)
will be flown at RAF Honington airfield from 4 12 August inclusive.
They will be conducted in accordance with the rules set out
in the 2007 Rules for the BGA Rated Competitions, except where
these are varied by Local Rules. There will be 2 task groups,
ISRGC Open and ISRGC Sport.
2. Registration
Each pilot must register by 2100 hours BST on Friday 3 August
2007. Pilots who are unable to register by this time must have
submitted their registration form by the 27th July via email
or post to the RAFGSA Competition Member, Al Clarke, 2 Westfield
Lane, Thorpe-on-the-Hill, Lincoln, LN6 9BF or e-mail al@alpet.co.uk.

A to this document. Pilots are advised to visit the website
for competition stop press information.
Payment of launch fees and inspection of current airspace maps,
insurance documents, competition licenses and loggers must be
carried out by Saturday 4 August 2000, 0900 hours BST. Registration
times for the competition are 1700-2100. Payments should be
by cash or personal cheque to the following scale:

All civilian glider pilots wishing to fly at RAF Honington
must be associate members of the RAFGSA and must fill in a Membership
form before flying.
3. Competition Start and Finish procedures.
Competition starts and finishes will be based on BGA TP HTN,
co-ordinates 52 20.493N 000 46.742E.
Starts will be by the BGA semi circle as at rule 19.1.1.
The Finish Line will be replaced by a 1.5 Kilometre radius
circle (a finish ring), centred on the Start Point HTN. See
annex C for approximate dimensions.
Once finishers are within 1.5 Kilometres of the Start Point
HTN they will be deemed to have completed the task and will
receive an interpolated finish time accurate to one second.
Finishes should be at a minimum height of 200’AGL followed
by arrival procedures as briefed on the day. If there is insufficient
momentum to finish at 200’ gliders may finish below this
height but any subsequent high energy manoeuvre above 200’
may be penalised at the directors discretion.

4. Airfield Boundary
The airfield boundary is defined by the perimeter track. To
qualify for an additional launch (relight), the glider must
have landed within the airfield boundary.
5. Prohibited Areas.
In addition to rule 23, The Parachuting sites at Hinton in
the Hedges, Langar, Sibson and Weston On The Green are declared
as Prohibited Areas during the period of the competition. Further
prohibited airspace including the MATZ airspace at Mildenhall
and Lakenheath may be designated at task briefings.
6. Launching
Cars must be removed from the grid 15 minutes prior to the
designated first launch.
Supplementary Information.
7. Airfield Access
Access to the airfield will be by via the Main Guardroom. The
RAF Honington domestic site to the south of the airfield is
not part of the competition. Aside from site access and briefed
exceptions such as use of the Gym showers it should not be routinely
used by competitors.
8. Catering
Breakfast will be available from the catering tent from 0800
to 1100.

Registration Form
Read this form carefully. All questions must be answered and
the declaration signed. The BGA and the Comp Organisation reserve
the right to call for verification of any answers given.
Please note that incorrect answers may lead to rejection of
your entry or disqualification.
