How Do I Apply For a JSAT?

You need to see you Station PEd staff after you have filled in the JSAT Application Form which can be found in JSP419.  You gym/PEd Flt may also have a copy of this form you could copy.

The form is then submitted to JSGC - and joining instructions sent out if you are accepted.

From time to time last minute places for courses will be posted on the news section of the site.

Please Note: If you are over 6'2" tall you will not fit into our gliders, also if you weigh more than 110kgs or 242lbs you will be over the maximum seat weight permitted.

Should you reach solo standard, you will be required to answer questions on Air Law before flying solo.  Questions will be based on the British Gliding Association (BGA) Laws and Rules.  These can be found on the BGA website at. www.gliding.co.uk/forms/lawsandrules
