Hope this gets me in contact with some old friends from the RAFGSA at RAF Bicester. I was stationed at RAF Upper Heyford from 1969 until 1973 and I flew at Bicester when Andy Gough was the Chief Flight Instructor. You might remember me as the crazy Yank who ran out of gas while towing a sailplane! I was also known as the best tea maker on the bus we parked on the field. |

If going to Feshie - remember Service personnel and Veterans can use the Feshie Lodge which has fantastic facilities and is in walking distance of the site - bookable through the Gym at Kinloss. Fulmar are organising a club/GSA visit there in Oct 08. When at Lossie/Kinloss or in Scotland support Scotland's only Service Club Fulmar with a visit to Easterton..... |

Hi to everyone who remembers me. Im still gliding, now in the Scottish Cairngorms. Great to see the French Exped is still going strong.
If you want to keep those new found mountain skills, Feshiebridge is an awesome place to fly. Thermals upto 10,000ft and wave well beyond that. We have a great bar to boot.
Hope to see and hear from some you you soon.
Regards,
TC |

Still missing the days of gliding at the orignal home of the RAFGSA Centre, Bicester. Last flight there was in a Blanik on 10 October '71. Was on the strength of 71MU up to Jan '68 but could generally be found at the GSA Hangar. Great days. |
